PARA-MEDIC METAL LUNCHBOX from Ohio Art 1978
.
This very rare R-6 has unique features and illustrates Ohio Art at its absolute best.
It opens from both sides – and depicts the contents of the open box on the main panel.
How cool is that?
Allowed kids to play para-medic as “Unit 45” with a plethora of medical instruments and a phone to relay info to the hospital.
As is often the case with Ohio Art - no thermos was made for this box.
Although rare on its own – even more rare to find one complete with all contents – and in remarkable condition!
This is the finest example of this box we have ever seen – and appears unused.
Condition: Box is complete and correct (including all of the internal components).  Box lithos are clean and glossy throughout.
Extremely light shelf wear on rim - with no corner dents or dimples.   All of the internal pieces are complete and in great shape.  Inside is also very clean with no previous owner markings.   In overall Mint C-9.5 condition.
From my personal collection – stored carefully in a cool, dry, smoke-free room away from sunlight.
