MICKEY MOUSE CLUB METAL LUNCHBOX AND PLASTIC THERMOS from Aladdin Industries 1976
.
This is the 2nd of three lunchkits from AL made for Disney of the Mickey Mouse Club.
Although the MMC TV show began in 1955, this box was made when the “New Mickey Mouse Club” show became syndicated in January 1977.
Unusual in that the design and artwork was not done by Aladdin’s stable of artists but by the actual
Disney Studios.
Features Mouseketeer
characters like Annette Funicello and Darlene Gillespie and scenes from this hit TV show on the back and side panels - our favorite Disney cartoon characters like Mickey, Donald and Pluto – “ayuck ayack” – on the front).
A very nice example of this must-have for the Mouseketeer fan and a great Disney collectible!
Condition: Box and thermos are complete and correct (including the original wire thermos holder).
Lithos are clean and glossy throughout without any blemishes to the raised areas so typical with these vintage embossed boxes.
Very light edge wear with no corner dents or dimples.
Inside of box is also clean with no previous owner markings.
Box in overall Excellent Plus C-8.5 condition.
