Vintage Disston U.SA. D-8 Handsaw 8 TPI

Decent older Disston D-8 saw. I'm not a collector nor a particularly well informed amateur, but I have had quite a few similar saws. This one has the 1" medallion with USA markings, which The Disstonian Institute says is after 1940, and the etch that pre-dates the change after World War II, according to the same Web site. The saw has been used, has some typical rusting on surface with no pitting that I can feel, paint spray on top of handle and on side opposite the medallion face. When I set a yardstick against the blade it appears to have a slight bow in the middle. I believe this one is a rip saw. I tried to take a lot of pictures to give a good idea of markings and condition, so look at those to get the best idea of saw's characteristics. It is stamped "8" at the heel.
