    Description

Up for auction is a populated pair of Pass Diy Pearl 2 phono stage printed circuit boards.  In December 2018 I purchased the unpopulated boards with matched JFETs at a cost of 200 USD from Pass Diy.  I also acquired all other parts to complete the standard build of the boards using recommended parts from Mouser, DigiKey, etc.  Installation of the parts is my work and that is what is shown in the images.
I have been an electronics hobbyist for decades and I am confident that the boards will perform as intended.  Be that as it may, these particular boards have not been powered up and therein lies my reason for selling…
The boards require a power supply and, the designer, Wayne Colburn, recommends that it be in a separate case.  I am just not interested in constructing a multi-case phono preamp and a power supply at this time.
For a lot more information on the Pearl 2 consult the passdiy and diyaudio websites.  While I have done the work seen in the images, the work that remains is not a quick beginner project!
I am a private seller and it is my hope that these boards will be purchased by a private buyer who will make use of them in their personal project.  For such a buyer I am extending a thirty day money-back satisfaction guarantee if the boards are returned in the same condition as I shipped them--just in case, I have taken detailed photos for comparison.  Note, I offer no such guarantee to commercial interests, flippers, resellers, and re-shippers.  Unfortunately, because of the complications involved, I am not offering this guarantee to the non-U.S purchaser.
