Large Telephone System Power Supply. This is about the last one here. The others where taken apart. Because of mostly the transformers inside, this is usually very heavy (perhaps 250 + lbs). Labels on this power supply say: “DC amperes to 10 A, DC volts to 75 V. Selenium Rectifier. Pylon Electronics Equipment Co. Ltd. Montreal Canada. 10 amperes, Flotrol constant voltage battery charger, Lorain Products” etc. It has an Automatic Electric nameplate.
Contains copper-wound=transformers, lights and switches. As removed from service prior to 1980. I have no idea as to whether it works or care about how it works. I imagine that it weighs about 100 lbs and is about 3’ x 1 1/2’ x 1 1/2’. I’ll ship or you pick up here, or I’ll drop it off if I go in or near your direction. It came with 20 semi loads of old telephone equipment and telephones from Bob at Turtle Lake in 1980 and 1981. Bob had a deal with Alberta, Saskatchewan and perhaps Manitoba to take on everything and anything the delivered. It seems that every two weeks or so a semi would deliver a load. He filled up a building 80’ x 600’! In 1980, I bought the building with (plus) the contents. This is the last large power supply of about 40. The rest were sold or dismembered 20 years ago.
Must pick up - help load.
