    Description

    This old back saw doesn't have inch worms per se but I knew that would make a few take a look just to see what the hell I was talking about, it had worms at some point though. The H. DISSTON eagle medallion looks to be the third type on the Disstonian web site, late 1840's to early 1850's. The handle has the look of not seeing much use with crisp edges, except of course where the worm had lunch. Not a pristine example but then any example from those early days is a good find, I hadn't picked this saw up for over a decade, it deserves better.
