    Description

Up for your consideration is an antique human powered lever action drag saw made by the Folding Sawing Machine Co. and patented by Marvin Smith in 1882.  It has the Frank Pahls June 3, 1902 patent tensioning device. The blade measures 6' long. It is 7 3/4" wide at the largest end and 3" wide at the narrow end. When folded up, it measures approximately 91" x 13" x 10". To the best of our knowledge, nothing is broken or has been repaired on this tool. Guide rod in front is slightly bent and will straighten easily I am fairly sure this is the bigger #2 saw. They only made two sizes. They can be used for felling trees or sawing logs from 30" to 5-1/2'. Unfortunately this will be difficult to ship, so we have it as local pickup. It could be shipped, but it will be at owners expense.
Please ask any questions you might have and I will get right back to you.
