    Description

Up for sale is my 2019 Yamaha R1 in this beautiful blue (has to be seen in person) When I first picked this bike up in 2019, It had taken me 6 months of waiting to find this exact color code and if you haven't already seen one in person, they're a must see!
I wanted a 2019 due to the number of upgrades over the 15-17 models (up and down quick-shifter as standard, upgrades to engine internals to make it substantially more reliable. The paintwork and fairings have been meticulously maintained with a wash and wax + Shine and go every few rides and full cleans every 10 or so. The result is that there isn't any damage or scratches or chips on any part of this bike and the paint will speak for itself in person.
Over the course of my ownership I have also added a number of accessories without taking away from the oem looks of the bike. These are as follows:- Rizoma Grips- CRG Mirror block off indicators (super bright and always visible)- CRG Bar end Land splitting mirrors (fold in for filtering)- Custom bar ends for mirrors (CNC'd and painted)- FP racing adjustable shorty levers- Competition werkes tail tidy - Custom Rear indicators (tuck up under to keep a super clean tail section - Are also very bright and visible)- Akrapovic Slip on (M1 style - Really hard to find and can no longer buy)- Akrapovic link pipe (titanium)- Rear bobbins/spools- Techspec tank grips- Puig Blacked out screen- Helibars (different handle bars)- carbon rear swing arm cover Helibars - these are basically different handle bars/clip ons that help mitigate a lot of the wrist pain that the 15+ r1 is well known for.It doesn't change the riding position except by slightly altering the angle at which the bars sit (so they're not facing do much towards the ground).I can attest that these create a much more comfortable ride and I have done 6+ hr trips without any real wrist pain. Cost around ~750 plus fitting and make a of a difference!
The bike was initially serviced at 800 miles and oil changes have been done every 2000 miles since by myself. Brakes were also checked at 10k miles. Bike was always serviced with genuine Yamaha filter and motuls 7100 10W 40. Chain has also been cleaned and lubricated with motul factory line every 400-500kmsOdometer is currently showing 14743 but is subjected to change as I still ride (however, wont increase much)Only downside currently is that the tires are shortly due for a change maybe in about another 1k miles more or lessAny other questions, feel free to text me. As bike sits, it's fairly priced at 700, negotiable!
